Administrative Services

Dental Network of America, Inc. (DNoA) offers a complete range of third party administration services for several types of dental products including:

  Dental Preferred Provider Organization (DPPO)

Dental Network of America, Inc. (DNoA) provides full service admistration for standard and custom DPPO plans, which includes offering a network of over 83,000 preferred providers across the country. DNoA manages network providers in Illinois, New Mexico and Texas, and has a partnership with DenteMax, a national dental network manager, to provide network providers on a national basis.

Our network of preferred providers are paid on a fee-for-service basis under a fixed fee schedule. Discounts vary by provider, but generally represent savings of 15% to 25% from average charges. Other areas of administration we offer for DPPO include:
  • Network development and management
  • Full provider credentialing, including license verification and board certification
  • Claim processing
  • Customer service
  • Daily monitoring of claim processing and customer phone calls for total quality assurance
  • Group billing

Coverage includes most preventive and diagnostic services. When using a contracting preferred provider dentist, services are covered at the in-network benefit level, which reduces the member’s out-of-pocket expense. Contracting dentists have agreed to accept predetermined fees for their services, submit claims directly to DNoA and not balance bill members for the difference between their usual and customary fee and the in-network benefit level.

  Dental Health Maintenance Organization (DHMO)

Dental Network of America, Inc. (DNoA) provides full service admistration for the DHMO in the Chicago metropolitan area. These plans are designed to eliminate the need for claim forms, deductibles, waiting periods, and pre-existing condition exclusions; making coverage easier to understand and utilize. Members must select a contracting primary care dentist from our extensive DHMO provider network, exclusively in the Chicago metropolitan area and collar counties. Our administrative services for DHMO also include:
  • Network development and management
  • Full provider credentialing, including license verification and board certification
  • On-site facility review, plus on going quality assurance and provider education
  • Claim processing
  • Customer service
  • Daily monitoring of claim processing and customer phone calls for total quality assurance
  • Group billing

Coverage includes most preventive services and may include orthodontic benefits for children and adults.

  Indemnity Insurance Plans

Another type of plan in which DNoA can provide full service dental administration is for an indemnity insurance plan, also known as a traditional fee-for-service type of plan. Indemnity insurance plans offer members maximum choice—they can visit any dentist or specialist they choose, without a referral. Members are covered for treatment in or outside of the United States. Services offered in our dental administration for indemnity insurance plans include:
  • Claim processing
  • Customer service
  • Daily monitoring of claim processing and customer phone calls for total quality assurance
  • Group billing

Coverage includes most preventive and diagnostic services. After meeting a deductible or satisfying any waiting periods, members are reimbursed for all or part of the costs for covered procedures up to the plan's annual dollar maximum. Members pay the difference between the covered costs and the dentist's usual fees.
