Customer Advocate Supervisor - Amarillo, TX

The Customer Advocate Supervisor is responsible for leading, monitoring, assisting, and training Inquiry staff to meet or exceed performance goals. They perform all functions within the high standards of Integrity, Ethics, Compliance and Corporate Citizenship. Each Supervisor is accountable for contributing to excellent levels of quality and productivity on both a team and individual level. Within a customer contact center work environment, our Supervisors perform these and other essential functions:

  • Lead assigned Inquiry team members and monitor call patterns and staffing across one or more lines of business skills to maintain efficient and effective staffing levels and achieve average speed of answer, abandon rate and budgetary goals.
  • Coordinate and direct Customer Advocate efforts to process phone, email, fax and web inquiries, follow up actions and written correspondence accurately and completely within cycle times and budget.
  • Provide a motivating work environment, mentor, coach, train, provide on-the-job development opportunities and counsel Customer Advocates and Technicians to exceed corporate and internal quality, production, attendance and customer and employee satisfaction goals.

Basic requirements for applying for our Customer Advocate Supervisor:

  • High School Diploma or equivilant
  • Minimum of two years experience in claims processing, examining, or customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree or four years experience working in a contact center customer service position preferred.
  • Minimum of four years experience in claims processing, examining, or contact center customer service experience.
  • Proven leadership skills including: effective analytical abilities, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, independent decision-making, conflict resolution and judgment skills, solid planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
